Summer Dance Festival is over
The 12th Summer Dance Festival is over. With 721 real starts it was the third biggest SuDaFe of all times. The dancers came from Germany, Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Russia. The 46 competitions were judged by 47 adjudicators, ad more than 75 helpers worked three days to make this as incredible as the event of the last year.
Don't miss the SuDaFe in 2011, the date is the 11th and 12th of June.

Victory fpr Latvia in the IDSF Junior II Ballroom
In the last competition of the 2010 Summer Dance Festival, the victory went to Nils Jugans/Jelizaveta Jermilova from Lativa. They won all five dances. Between place two and three, it was a very tight. The race for place two was decided in the last dance, with the better end for Erik Kem/Michelle Kaiser. Place three went to Vadim Lehmann/Mariya Vakhnina.

IDSF Youth Latin for Gencarelli/Mkrtchjan
The second day of the 12th Summer Dance Festival started with the IDSF Youth Latin. 46 couples took part in this competition. All of the six finalists were from Germany. After a 4:1 decision, Guido Gencarelli/Angelika Mkrtchjan (Aschaffenburg) only had to give the Jive to the couple on place two, Artur Balandin/Anna Salita (Velbert). The third place went to Rami Schehemi/Lilli Hils (Dresden).

Doubel-victory for Germany in Juniors II B Latin
53 couples joined the competition of Juniors II B Latin. The final result was Daniel Shapilov/Jessica Eisenkrein ahead of Arthur Ankerstein/Vivien Kreiter both from Baden-Württemberg (GER).

Alex Gerlein/Karolina Bauer (Germany) succeed in IDSF Youth Standard
The first IDSF competition in this years Summer Dance Festival was won by Alex Gerlein/Karolina Bauer (TSC Blau-Weiß d. TV 1875 Paderborn) with all winning dances. Rami Schehemi/Lilli Hils (Tanzsportzentrum Dresden) finally got placed second ahead of Daniel Buschmann/Katarina Bauer (Tanzsportclub Dortmund).

2010's Summer Dance Festival has started
2010's Summer Dance Festival has started on time. On floor B the IDSF world ranking tournament of Youth A Modern marked the beginning among a total number of more than 22 competitions at the venue of Werner-Seelenbinder-Arena (Velodrom).
The results of all competitions will be displayed on this website. Please refer to sport/results.

Only five days left till the 2010 Summer Dance Festival
In five days the 12th Summer Dance Festival will start its competitions with the IDSF Youth Standard. Until today, more than 800 registrations reached the organisors.
The starting lists are up-to-date and you can get information about the number of participants and your number in the competions.
As a service for waverers, it is still possible to register couples for the competitions.

Summer Dance Festival 2010 - Internet relaunched
The Summer Dance Festival 2010 takes place at the 12th and 13th June 2010 in the Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle (Velodorm) in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Now the internet is relaunched. You can found all actual information about the timetable and accommodation at www.summer-dance-festival.de. In the future we will bring some more information - look out for this.

913 couples with 2009's Summer Dance Festival
Berlin's Summer Dance Festival saw a further increase of participating couples. The 755 couples of last year's event were topped by now 913 couples of Juveniles, Juniors and Youth from eight nations in 45 competitions.
Highlights were again the four IDSF-world ranking tournaments of Juniors II (B) and Youth (A).
The results of all competitions can be seen at sports.

German Triple on top of Juniors II B Standard
The final competition of this year's Summer Dance Festival was the Juniors II B Standard competition.
Three German couples were ranked in places 1 to 3: Daniel Buschmann/Katarina Bauer of Dortmund won among the 38 couples. The close race of the silver trophy was successfully ended by Daniel-Artur Kolosin/Alexandra Elert of Kassel ahead of Alex Ionel/Cordula-Patricia Beckhoff (Paderborn). After four dances place was splitted - the final decision came with the Quickstep.
