Second Continental Trophy for Skuratov/Seltenreich

Now one else could defeat them - Anton Skuratov/Anna Seltenreich of Germany won also the second Continental Trophy of Juniors II at Summer Dance Festival 2005. The world champion finalists won after the latin competition on Saturday as well the Modern competition today. They were closed followed by Evgeny Vinokurov/Christina Luft (GER). They also got many top rankings by the seven international adjudicators.
The Czech Republic remained among the top finalists in this tournament: David Odstrcil/Aneta Adamcova received the bronce medal with this competiton. Ranked in fourth and fifth place were Lithuania and Belarus: Edvaras Racius/Ekaterina Plikosova got four times the fourth place and therefore ranked ahead of Andrei Kishkurna/Valeria Urymahava. The final was completed by Victor Kraft/Marina Beck of Germany.

Tatarenko/Lischynska win Continental Trophy of Youth Latin

68 couples from 8 nations participated in the IDSF-world ranking tournament at Berlin's Velodrom. Two Czech and four German couples reached the final: The winners of Continental Trophy became Sergey Tatarenko/Viktoria Lischynska of Berlin (Germany). They won four out of five dances. Only Rumba was won by the silver medalists Filip Swetik/Tereza Staricna of the Czech Republic. Ranked in third place were Andrei Kazlouski/Jana Ritter of Berlin (Germany) who became third in three dances. That put them ahead of Diego Martinez/Natalija Veremeeva (Germany). The winners of yesterday's modern competition, Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva, became fifth and Radek Mucha/Alice Stodulkova of the Czech Republik completed the final.

Skuratov/Seltenreich win at Junior II Latin

The second Continental Trophy of Saturday at this year's Summer Dance Festival has been won again by a German couple. Anton Skuratov/Anna Seltenreich, World Championship finalists, dominated the Junior II Latin competition (62 couples). They won all five dances - each with the majority of "1". The second place were reached by the French Charles-Guillaume Schmitt/Elena Salikhova, the first ever medalists of France at Summer Dance Festival. A strong performance as well presented the second German finalist: Evgeny Vinokurov/Christina Luft who were close to place 2. Very international were also the remaining places in the final round. Place 4 went to Lithuania - Edvardas Racius/Ekaterina Plikosova became third in three dances (ChaCha and Paso Doble lace 6). Latvia was represented on fifth place: Reinis Boze/Elza Pole missed rank 4 by a half point and were two points ahead of the sixth place. The final as completed by Andrei Kishkurna/Valria Urymahava of Belarus.

Lusin/Busheeva of Germany win Continental Trophy of Youth Standard

43 couples of Youth Standard inaugurated this year's Summer Dance Festival of Berlin on Saturday morning. High level performances on the top needed to be jugded by the seven international adjudicators.
One couple from Lithuania, two couples from the Czech Republic and four German couples formed the final of IDSF world ranking tournament Youth standard. Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva of Germany not only defended their number one positon among German Youth couples they also won this year's Continental Trophy. There was only one dance in the final they did not finished as winners. Place 1 in the Waltz and ranked in total in second place were Vladimir Kondratjuk/Maria Bakuta (Germany). Third in all dances became Pavel John/Tereza Jendrulkova (Czech Republic).
Three times on fourth place gave Andrius Greblikas/Alisa Samoilova of Lithuania place 4. The German couples Dmytro Pidlubnyy/Friederike Tischendorf and Paul Lorenz/Kristina Mertin ranked after skating-system on places 5 and 6. The Czechs Filip Maly/Lucie Dolezalova completed the final with place 7.
